Caut un logic board pentru un iBook de 12'' cu procesor G4 la 1.2 GHz. Dar accept și la alte frecvențe atâta timp cât se potrivesc cu ce am eu.

Safari has some browser market share and while it's tempting to just put it in the "ignore list", with IE 5 or old Netscape versions it's usually a good idea to test your websites in it too.

Testing on Safari is not easy when you're developing on a PC. You can run MacOS X with Pear, but this is slow as hell. You can buy a Mac. That's expensive unless you do not plan to switch to it. You can bug your friends with a Mac or you can use one of the online services that take screenshots of your website in various browsers and platforms.

Since the rendering engine, WebKit, is based on KHTML, some people use
Konqueror to test their websites. This works, but not fully since Apple modified KHTML so there are differences. And unless you want to try to install Konqueror on Windows using Cygwin, this is not an option.

N-a fost peste doi ani cum ziceam eu mai de mult, ci ceva mai curand. :)
De vineri sunt posesorul unui iBook G4 si fan MacOS X. Peste ceva timp, cu putin noroc, voi scrie 'chinurile' trecerii la MacOS X de la Windows.
Prima impresie a fost una foarte buna:
- Introdus adaptor Bluetooth, a functionat din prima fara sa ma intrebe nimic.
- Conectat Nokia 6630, primit aplicatie pentru sincronizare si instalat pe telefon. Trimis fisiere, sincronizat agenda, iesit pe net prin telefon. Din prima. Pe Win mi-a dat multe batai de cap pana am reusit sa il fac sa mearga cum trebuie.
- Conectat Nokia 6230i, la fel.
- Conectat tableta mea Wacom, a mers fara probleme. Iar ce ofera Ink e mult mai bun decat ce ofera driverul de Wacom pentru Windows.

Urmatorul pas: sa vand jumatate din pc-ul actual si sa-mi construiesc un Mactel intr-un barebone. :D
